About The Artists

Xiaohe Shen’s academic and practical experiences have made her a unique artist in her own right. During her study at the Rochester Institute of Technology, she focused, not only on her fascination with silversmith, but also broadened her journey to the fine art as well. 

Qieer Wang is a Chinese visual artist residing in Brooklyn, New York. She got her MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art, and had exhibitions and projects in Chengdu, China. She works in the fields of animation filmmaking, editorial illustration and interactive media. 

Meiyi Yang believes in our bodies as a platform to express our individualities, and jewelry and apparel are the best methods to do so. Born and raised in Shenzhen, the biggest jewelry market in China, she is currently a second year Metals and Jewelry Design MFA student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, while already got recognition from major publications like ELLE and Exquisite Arts. 

About The Exhibition

This exhibition, OFF-OF, means off the society norms and recognizing of a world out of eyes. Throughout the exhibition, the four artists use their own languages to interpret the world and the idea of “self”.
